I've been a member at Woodcreek for over two years. The facility is one of the older ones in town, but it is kept up nicely, and is usually very clean. The restrooms are outdated and are not particularly attractive, but they are clean and functional. I used the sauna on a few occasions when I first joined, and I found it to be satisfactory.
The classes at Woodcreek are all led by certified instructors. The Yoga and Pilates schedules are a bit sporadic, but the group fitness schedules are updated monthly to keep members informed of schedule changes and added or dropped classes.
The free weight room and weight machine room are well-maintained. The cardio machines and televisions upstairs are well-kept, too. The cardio cinema downstairs is always refreshingly cool and dark and features a different movie or television season each day. It's a nice change of pace for those of us who bore easily during cardio workouts.
During the summer, the water aerobics program is impressive. I was 10-20 weeks pregnant this summer and attended the morning water aerobics classes. The instructors were attentive and supportive and always provided modifications when necessary.
The staff at Woodcreek are friendly, especially the front desk staff.
Because Woodcreek is a raquetball facility, there is often a group of boisterous raquetball players on the courts. This can be annoying for members who prefer a more reserved environment.
Overall, Woodcreek is a good workout facility. There are many amenities and fitness options.
