My husband and I spent our wedding night at the Woodcliff. The website and brochures looked lovely and boasted about their amenities, etc. I was a little put off in the weeks prior to our stay, as everytime I called, the pricing was not consistent depending on who you spoke with. Nevertheless, we booked the couples package for the wknd and were excited. \r

So, the Good and the Bad? \r
The biggest complaint we had was about the bathroom in our room. I knew it would be small after reading other reviews, but didn't care too much about that. What I was not expecting was the lack of care...there were holes in the wall where it looked as if they had the shower curtain in all different places and never bothered to patch the holes. There was a good amount of water damage to the ceilin but the kicker was the tub. Withing a minute of having the water on, it would back up. After complaining numerous times, my husband finally fiddled w/ the drain and next thing you know, the whole stopper came OUT...he wasn't even pulling on it. It was completely rotted and disgusting! We would have switched rooms if there were any available. I dreaded showering the whole weeked. Showering in that standing water..Gross?! \r
We were also dissapointed that we could not use our vouchers as part of our package towards room service. Being our wedding weekend, we wanted to have breakfast in bed, which meant my husband going down to the restaurant and making plates for each of us and separately carrying them back up to the room...every high end hotel I've been at previously, we would have been accomodated or at least told of this prior to our stay. We dealt with it, but after ordering room service several other times during the weekend, we ended up having food delivered from outside as the hotel food was not all that great and definitely not worth the price in our opinion. \r
Another thing that I can't complain about as I knew of this ahead of time, but that they do not offer in room massage even if willing to pay extra. It would be nice to have the option. \r
The pool was ransacked with children, even at night. Don't get me wrong, I adore children. However, there was no supervision and we felt like we needed to babysit them rather than enjoy ourselves...same thing with the hot tub.\r

The Good...\r
There was a mini fridge, sink and counter in the room that came in handy. We also requested a microwave which was brought right away.\r
The AC unit was FANTASTIC...I'm one that is always hot and being the summer time, I was worried about the temperature of the room, but WOW. It kept the room nice and cold for me which was nice coming in from the humid hot summer air outside. \r
The Spa, although small, was nice and cozy w/ a fireplace in the waiting area. The locker rooms were on the smaller side, but were fully stocked w/ robes and towels, etc. The shower was very large and had great water pressure. \r
The highlight of the whole stay though...the massage!! I've received hundreds of massages over the years, and this was by far one of the best!! When I can, I still go back to the spa at the Woodcliff even if staying in another hotel. Although, I wouldn't necessarily reccomend the hotel, I would highly reccmd having a massage there to anyone!
Pros: massage, kitchen amenities
Cons: bathrooms, pricing was never consistant
