Women's Health Specialists

I had an appointment on Jan 4 and when I arrived they took a urine sample and I noticed I had started to light spotting. I was told my the nurse Jane that they didn't have an ultrasound tech and I would have to come back on Monday. When I went home I started spotting more and called the office and was told to go to the hospital. When I went to the Piedmont Henry there was a 4 to 9 hour wait so came back home already in discomfort. I called the doctor office on Jan 5 and was told to come in at 10:15am. When I arrived I had to meet with Jane. Jane called me in her office and begin to holler at me like I was a child and stated ""didn't I tell you to go to the hospital"" I told her about the wait and but she wouldn't let me get a word in. I told her I called this morning and this is why I was here because I had another appointment and she told me I was lying and if I kept it up they wouldn't see me in the office. I told her she didn't need to see me I couldn't understand why this lady was talking to me like this and I was pregnant and having problems. I left and as I was leaving she told me God Bless Me. When I left and came home I started bleeding and later that night I lost my baby. If only the doctor could have seen me maybe something could have been prevented but instead I had a nurse hollering at me and not having any compassion for what I was going thru. When I got out the hospital I read other comments and I encourage others to do the same because Jane has done this repeatedly for years. She is not going to get away with this and she can't continue to treat women in this way. I wouldn't recommend this office for my dog. Please take the time a research this office and make other arrangements. more

Dr. Simpson Jones is an amazing OB/GYN! she is kind and sensitive and understanding, and listens very compassionately. she is an excellent doctor who always makes me feel respected and cared for. she is extremely knowlegable and wise. i trust her totally and completely. she is a gifted physician! I have been a patient at Women's Health Specialists for many years, but am now seeking a new doctor & practice. My own doctor at WHS is wonderful; however, the practice has grown too big. Reaching anyone on the phone is nearly impossible, and the office waiting time (for scheduled appointments) is ridiculous. (I usually wait at least 45 minutes though I have a scheduled appointment.) I am looking for a new doctor with a smaller practice that might actually pretend to care about me as a patient. Pros: The doctors are very good Cons: Too big to provide personal care more
