Routine Healthcare

We can provide for your routine healthcare needs,including annual physical exams with pap smears and breast exams,cancer screenings (such as skin cancer and rectal hemocults for colon cancer) and specialized care for gynecological health problems.

Contraception

If you do not want to become pregnant,we will discuss birth control options with you to find the method that best fits your needs and lifestyle.

Obstetrics

We provide continuous care throughout a pregnancy,during the birth and after delivery. Preconception counseling is available to help ensure a healthy start to the pregnancy.

Throughout the pregnancy,we are here for routine care as well as unexpected problems that may occur. We work in conjunction with specialists in Bowling Green and Nashville to manage high-risk pregnancies and complications. We discuss delivery options and pain control methods available during labor to make the delivery as pleasant as possible.

When the time comes to deliver your baby,both mother and child will be well cared for by your Women's Health Specialist provider and the accomplished staff at The Medical Center. Menopausal Treatment

As women go through menopause,there are many problems that can develop. Some can be uncomfortable or annoying,while others can lead to severe medical problems.  We will discuss these changes with you as well as treatment options,including hormone replacement therapies and newer non-hormonal treatments.

Surgical Treatment

Some problems are best treated with surgery. Our physicians are trained gynecological surgeons and perform outpatient laparoscopic procedures (called Band-Aid surgery) for pelvic pain,tubal ligation and hysterectomy. Women's Health Specialists can also perform da Vinci® robotic surgery for hysterectomies.

In-office Procedures

Many procedures today can be performed in our office for your convenience and comfort. Our minimally-invasive in-office procedures include endometrial ablation for the treatment of heavy menstrual periods,Essure hysteroscopic sterilization,IUD removals and hysteroscopies for other gynecological health needs. Depending on insurance coverage,in-office procedures may reduce a patient's out-of-pocket expense.
