when I got pregnant in 2007 two of my friends recommended Dr. Dennis. I figured hey, 2 good reviews in a row, and I know he'll also be the one to deliver my child. I'll admit at first I wasn't too impressed, but then I started noticing how the staff new my name before I said anything and smiled when they greeted...you don't get that every where. They were genuinely concerned with mine and my baby's health and that's so important. Dr. Dennis is the same way...you can't help but be comfortable with him, even my boyfriend would leave the office and say ""you know, I really like that guy."" Delivery day was great (he only delivers in Manning), he was so mellow and soothing and everything went perfect! I think the only downside to Dr. Dennis's clinic is if you're waiting to see him specifically you could be there for a while if he's out delivering a baby...but it's worth it if you only want to work with one OB. Even after I gave birth, instead of going back to the military hospital for womens clinic issues I go to Dr. Dennis...and guess who's delivering this next baby of mine..that's right, Dr. Dennis :-) Pros: ambience, one dr for you entire pregnancy/delivery, parking Cons: if he's delivering a baby your wait time could be extended, or appt. rescheduled more

I heard horror stories about the baby docters at Tuomey. So when it came time to choose an ob/gyn I was terrified at the thought of having to go there. The locals here refer to Tuomey as Tombstone. A girlfriend of mine told me about how wonder Dr. Dennis and his staff at Woman's Heath Care of Sumter was. She was definitely right !!! And of course when any of my girlfriends discovered they were expecting they went to Dr. Dennis. They were not disapointed. Dr. Dennis and his staff made me feel like i was a real person. At Tuomey you are lucky if u even see the same docter twice. Your just another name on a chart. Dr. Dennis was able to personally see me everytime i went into the clinic. It was so nice to be in such a lovely atmosphere. I didnt have to worry about being at a big scary hospital with sick patients coughing and sneezing everywhere. I was happy to have a wonderful experience and i would never even think of going anywhere else.
