Hostile employee! 1/28/2012

A good friend of mine had a horrible ""spa"" experience here. She said that she felt very uncomfortable and uneasy after hearing Enza Giacone (one of the estheticians) going insane, screaming and swearing at another co-worker during her appointment. I looked her up on the state of Illinois license look-up web-site, she has never been disciplined, but that's probably because she hasn't had her license very long. Hello managment? These are expensive treatments and you allow your staff to act like that? I agree with the last person that posted the comment, ""companies such as this won't stay in business very long."" I was considering going to Women's Doc Medspa, but not after hearing what my friend said! I guess you lost another customer! I am going to look for a more relaxing and professional place to go to. more

YOU WILL NOT FEEL PAMPERED HERE 1/18/2012

I visited Women Doc one time last week and it will be the last. I was greeted by unprofessional staff, with a attitude of 'please don't disturb me"". The service offering and time frames available for services is very limited. The manager was rude and unapproachable as if she was doing me a favor for allowing me to pay for services. It is so hard to make a business, any business successful in during these difficult times. I find it hard to believe that companies such as this one will stay in business very long. more

Money Grubbing Company 4/21/2011

I went to womens doc the first time in 2009 and had an exam by Dr. Merchant. At first she seemed nice and truly caring about my health and concerns. However, after I had a bad pap smear and colposcopy, she told me I needed cryosurgery. I asked her what the risks were, especially if there was a chance I could become infertile and she told me there were no risks at all. I thought this sounded a little fishy, so I got a second opinion from my PCP, and he told me that I DID NOT need cryosurgery, just pap smears every 3 months, and that if I did have this cryosurgery done, there would be a very good chance I would be infertile. This doctor LIED straight to my face just so she could convince me to do an unnecessary procedure to get money. I'm 32 and am planning on having children, if I would have listened to this money sucking doctor, I probably would have never been able to have any children. DO NOT TRUST THIS DOCTOR!!!!!!!!!! ALL SHE CARES ABOUT IS MONEY. SHE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH IN ANY WAY. FOR YOUR OWN PROTECTION AND THE SAFETY OF YOUR HEALTH DO NOT SEE HER. I have told all of my friends and family about this horrible experience and I truly hope that for the sake of all womens health, that the word gets around about this crooked doctor more

Corporate Medicine 2/8/2011

Obviously all of the reviews here were written by staff members and employees because I do not believe that this place would receive so many stars in a period of 3 or 4 days. Its about as corporate as a doctor's office is ever going to get. You wait in the waiting room for half an hour and barely get 5 minutes with your doctor. Who plainly doesn't even care what you or your child came down with because the same prescription is written for almost everything. Everything is really impersonal and makes patients feel un welcome. Its time to switch doctors. more

My weight Loss with Zerona 1/12/2011

My personal experience with weight loss has been very challenging for me.I've tryed everything possible to lose some inches and nothing seemed to work for me. As a patient of Women's Doc the staff informed me of there laser treatment called Zerona. Once I did my research on it I found out there is no incisions. I decided to give it a shot. When I went in for my appointment the staff was very nice and made me feel really comfortable. I have lost 5 inches from my waist faster then any other treatment I have tryed!! Since then I have kept these inches off. I recomend this to people who are trying to loose inches from different parts of there bodies. It works!! more

My friend recommended me to this fantastic place she would talk wonders about WomensDoc and how great it is. So I decided to give it a try since I have weight issues I figured why not. I tried the Zerona Treatment and was very pleased with my results I really recommend this Zerona to everyone that is struggling with weight loss. more

I have been a patient for Womens Doc for over 4 years and have been struggling with weight loss for some time. I tried dieting and working out was not an option for me. One of my visits at the clinic, I was informed about the Zerona treatment. I gave it a try and I was amazed on how I slimed down to my highschool weight! If anyone wants to fit into your old clothes or getting to that size you want you have to try Zerona!!! You can fit into that size you want and fast! more

Zerona 1/11/2011

I have been a patient for Womens Doc for some time now and I was very excited to find out that their newly Med Spa now offers Zerona treatments. I watched how Zerona amazingly slims down inches in just 2 weeks on many shows like The Doctors. As a patient I was given the treatment for a discounted rate and now I'm down to a size 2 and I lost an incredible 6 inches. If anyone is interested in getting a bikini body you should defiantly visit the Med Spa in South Barrington. more

Zerona- 3 inches of fat gone! 1/10/2011

I came to Women's Doc MedSpa to get my next facial and discovered that they have just purchased a fantastic new laser called Zerona. I did some research online and I've decided to give it a try. It doesn't require any cuts or a surgery which I would never consider. I've been working out for years & trying to eat pretty healthy foods but could never get rid of this little ""shaky"" inch or two around my waist. So yes, I have tried it and it worked out amazingly. I absolutely LOVE the results. This was the solution I was dreaming of for a long time. I have lost 3, yes, 3 inches! The staff is also great, very patient and always available to answer any questions. I'm definitely coming back! more

very positive experience 12/30/2010

My husband bought me a 4 visit package deal for women's doc med spa, and I went to my first visit yesterday where I had my facial done. I must say that I''ve never felt so relaxed and comfortable than I did at womens doc med spa. Not only was the aesthetician thorough and kind, but all the other staff were extremely nice too. The office is also very nice looking and it's very comfortable in there. Because of my experience yesterday, I've made an appointment with Dr. Merchant, who will be my new gynecologist. I'm very satisfied and am looking forward to continuing my journey with all the staff there!!!!! more

Was the Best Experience!! 12/30/2010

For being my first time at Women's Doc Med Spa, in South Barrington Rd in Hoffman Estates I have to say that it was the best experience. I have been to other med spas in the past but nothing compares to this visit. You feel that cozy warm feeling as soon as you walk in with that simple ""Hello"" and a smile. I am so glad that I bought The Complete Beauty Package with my four visits. I will definetly go back for my other three visits. I recommend it for everyone to go and check it out!!!!!! more

Ive been overweight my whole life, and diets have not been working for me. My friend told me about Zerona and Women's Doc Med Spa, and I tried it. Let me tell everyone, there's absolutely no pain, no cuts or incisions, and i lost 2 DRESS SIZES IN ONLY 6 TREATMENTS!!!!!!! I usually don't write any reviews for any place I have visited, but for this one I just had to. Womens Doc and MedSpa offers fantastic service and they take care of you right away. There is no waiting time. The two wonderful aestheticians Rachel and Katie take care of whatever you need, no judgement. You walk out relaxed and happier then you were when you walked in. Ladies, visit WomensDoc and MedSpa you wont regret it. more

Amazing experince 12/30/2010

I had my first chemical peel done by Katie it was amazing my face was terrible before and now everybody that sees me my friends and even my coworkers they say what did you do to your face that it looks 10 yrs younger, and I say I went for chemical peel it really does wonders, so if anybody will ask me where I went I will definitly recommend WOMENSDOC/MEDSPA IN SOUTH BARRINGTON. more

A very pleasant experience. 12/29/2010

I had my very first chemical peel done by one of the aestheticians at Women's Doc and I cannot begin to explain how great the experience was. Fully knowledgeable and friendly, Rachel was a real treat to be around. The process of getting a chemical peel tends to be an uncomfortable one from what I had heard in the past but I will definitely be changing people's opinions when I share my story with them. I will definitely be going back to Women's Doc Med Spa to get more treatmeants done! more
