Wolfe's Wine Shoppe

I went in the store last month and Jeff (the owner), assisted in helping me buy a bottle for a dinner party I was going to. I only wanted to spend around $8-$15 and I was pleasantly suprised to see a huge selecton in that range. So, I bought 3 bottles, two for myself, and was amazed at how good everything was. We have been buying from Wolfes Wine Shop for years and have always been very happy with the customer service we receive and the knowledge that all the people in the store have about the wines they carry. We also hosted 2 wine tastings there this month (one personal and one for business) and the events were excellent. All of the people that attended complimented us on the place, the wines selected for the wine tasting (we asked the owner to select them all because we are not knowledgeable enough to select) and the experience as a whole. Our experience has been so positive with this wine shop that we plan to host more wine tastings there in the future . . . we already called about one for March. this place was just ok.i agree with other comments that there are other places to go in miami for wine that is worth the$$ and time. on the plus side cute guy helped. Pros: just wine no spirits Cons: blah more

It's a cute shop, though while browsing it seemed that most of the wines were a bit pricey. Matt (I think) was very knowledgable and friendly in helping me pick out a delicious and moderately priced wine for a dinner party. Pros: ambience Cons: small so perhaps a limited selection more

Don't bother with this place! Considering the location you would expect to get great service and recommendations but it is not the case. Expect help and attention only if you are buying wine by the cases. Pros: location Cons: rude service more

Do belive the hype, this cool, funky shoppe is everything to all types. Novices to over the top collectors will find the service, selection and prices outstanding, an anomaly in Miami. Pros: Service, Knowledge, Prices more

been a frequent customer until recently when i went and mr. wolfe - the owner himself was there and was completely rude and obnoxious, on top of that the wines he recommended were not at all to my liking or close to what i had requested! don't spend your dollars at this store when there are better shops around town friendlier to the novice wine drinkers!! more

A very nice selection of wines, ranging from local favorites to more exotic choices. The person on duty helped me pick a very good Chilean wine as a gift for a friend I was to visit. There were also other good choices and a variety to fit different budgets. more
