Good: The facility is fabulous.. Bad: They all like animals, but like money more. I asked the vet for a prescription for my pet's meds and made the mistake of telling him that I can get them cheaper at my pharmacy. Big mistake. He wrote the script and notated that it could not be filled with a generic brand. The result, of course, was that it cost me more. They are sooooooo greedy.. Improvements: A little compassion for those with a sick pet would go a long way. Their fees are quite high, comparatively speaking. If you decide to use them, you'd better make sure that you have an excellent income. You'll need it!. Other: I read about their love of money. I was also warned by a client in the waiting room on another occasion. I ignored it and it came back to bite me. They're good, but not good enough to overcome their love of money. When you come in their first question is always, "How are you going to pay?". more

A great place 5/1/2009

I think "hospital" administrators can learn a thing or two from here. To my wife and I, our dogs are our children and just like our other children we want to feel they are given the best care possible. WVC affords us peace of mind and the staff is second to none. more

Professionalism and TLC. 12/19/2006

If you live in the vicinity or even if you don't there's no better place to take your pet. The staff are wonderful and assuring. Even in the waiting area its a pleasure to see other pet parents and their beloved "children". A great opportunity to swap stories about the antics and other cute little things they do around the house. And once in the examining room be prepared to stay awhile, not "wait" a while like other places. There's no bum rush exam and consultation here. The vet no matter who he or she may be takes their time and makes sure you know what the condition or illness is, what may have caused it and the prescribed treatment. Some of my friends and loved ones might still be around if they chose medical treatment here instead of many of the hospitals afforded to us humans. And some of you know what I mean. more

Cured my Doggie 12/29/2005

A number of years ago I took my dog here. He was not eating his food and blood was coming out his bottom. Come to find out I was feeding my pet too much human food that made him very sick. He had to be kept over night but i believe the doctors cared for my baby very well. He was all better in a couple of days and I have the doctors to thank for it. more

A great place to take a sick dog 8/19/2005

This small building is deceptive. This is avery busy practice. They are nice to the animals and to their families as well. The care is great and they can be very compassionate when things are rough for your animal. They saved my dog's life once when he was accidentally poisoned. They worked hard on him for hours and i had no appointment I just carried him in. I would only wish that it was not so crowded in the waiting area which can be hard if you have a dog that does not get along with others (or cats in my case). more
