This place is staying in my list as one of the best Chinese food there is in the city. They have everything and the tastiest of them all is their braised beef.

BAD FOOD, BAD STAFF....JUST PLAIN BAD!!!!!!I am new in town and ordered the $12.95 uptown dinner from Wok Uptown, they were very timely and polite when i placed my order. HOWEVER ...

Delicious Chinese food and big portions! 6/25/2010

I was just starving and about to pass out when my friend came by with a big brown bag of food. He said it was from Wok Uptown Chinese restaurant down the street and the smell wafting thru my apartment was just so delicious. I immediatly started to salivate and thank him a million times for saving my life. \r \r I ripped open the bag and proceeded to open the first Chinese carton of food...it was Chicken Lo mein, soft egg noodles stir-fried with sliced chicken breast and veggies. It was soooo good! Then he told me the noodles are made fresh daily! It tasted like heaven to me. The steamed chicken dumplings were delicious, too. I loved dipping it in the garlic soy sauce that it came with.\r \r So now..I have my weekly Chinese food fix at Wok Uptown and everything has been stellar! I like their website www.wokuptown.com because it's easy to use and has every description of all their entrees. Very helpful! more

Denver's Best Chinese Take-out..fast and delicious. 6/24/2010

So my roomate swears by this place...he eats Wok Uptown at least once a week. I just happened to taste his Mongolian Beef and it was just splendid. Just good ole flank steak and onions in a spicy garlic chili sauce over rice...it hit the spot! Best Chinese food in Uptown and Downtown Denver! 3/16/2010

A great little cozy Chinese restaurant that serves up some of the best Chinese food in Uptown Denver. Fresh, tasty and plentiful...with healthier options available like their Chinese Chicken Garden Salad or just ask one of their helpful staff members. \r \r I've dined in and had delivery to my house...love that they are so fast and dependable! I am seriously addicted to their Mongolian Beef (Out of this World!) and Chicken Chow Hor Fun ( a delicious traditional stir-fry with broad rice noodles) ..but everything I've had has been really good. more

Best Chinese food and Phad Thai in Denver! 1/15/2010

What really stand out at Wok Uptown is their great tasting food. My personal favorites are the Thai Curries..Fire Red Panang with Chicken (Med Spicy) over brown rice rocks my world. Pros: Love their flavorful and delicious food! Fast take-out 10min Cons: No liquor, small but cute dining room. more

Horrible Horrible Customer Service 9/28/2009

My boyfriend and I have been ordering from this place for over 3 years and never really had a problem but we ordered from them last night and had the WORST customer service ever!!!!!!!! They brought us our delivery and it was missing on entr?e so we called them to tell them and they pretty much told us it was our fault and that we should have them and said it was our fault because we had 3 sep orders so that was what we got!!!!! Then I asked them when they could bring me my order and they said they did not know because they could not talk to the driver and they could not do anything about it and never so sorry at all!!!!! So then we cancelled the order and again they said it was our fault. Pros: Sometimes good food Cons: Horrible Horrible Customer Service (one star for the food) more

Not a bad place for a meal! Food was prepared quickly. They were willing to make adjustments to menu items, and the food was tastey! The ambience is okay. But the food itself is worth the visit. more

Excellent Drunken Chicken Noodles and menu 12/23/2008

Best delivery for Chinese food in the downtown Denver area. Our office orders from Wok Uptown at least once or twice a week and the whole company loves their food. The Wok uses huge shrimp, flank steak and fresh tender vegetables. I love their Shrimp with Asparagus and my ultimate favorite dish is their mouth-watering Drunken Chicken. Juicy, marinated pieces of chicken stir fried with a spicy Mai sauce, fresh thai basil, onions, carrots, bean sprouts and broad rice noodles. Try them, you'll like it. more

Incredible Chinese food..best Sesame Chicken and Mongolian Beef! 12/9/2008

I must admit that I've been eating at Wok Uptown for over 4 years and find their Chinese food to be the best in Denver. I've tried other places but nothing compares to their freshness and tastiness of each dish. \r \r They have a quaint small dining room and I'll get take-out once in a while. I really prefer delivery since it's fast and so convenient. My personal favorite is their Mongolian Beef and Sesame Chicken....hits the spot everytime. I tell everyone I know to order from Wok Uptown. \r \r They offer some Thai dishes and my friend really enjoys their Chicken Pad Thai. The Green Thai Curry with Chicken is a wonderful blend of spices, veggies and amazing flavors. I like it really spicy with brown rice. Delicious! more

Amazing Drunken Chicken Noodles! 10/21/2008

Great food, awesome service. \r \r After moving from New York, I was on a quest for some delicious Chinese or Asian food. My good friend and I went to several Chinese restaurants in Denver....the best one was Wok Uptown Asian Cuisine.\r \r I was really craving this one Thai noodle dish called Drunken Chicken. Their version was perfect....stir-fried with sliced chicken breast, broad rice noodles, fresh thai basil, red chili pepper, onions and bean sprouts...yummy! My friend loved their Orange Chicken with brown rice. \r \r Their dining room was small but cozy and clean. The service is what stands out the most. Friendly, smiling and helpful staff. They will make special accomadations and offer gluten free, vegetarian dishes as well.\r \r This place delivers, too....a true gem. more

Friendly service, great Asian food! 9/10/2008

I usually go to Wok Uptown in Denver for some tasty Chinese food like Mongolian Beef or Orange Chicken. They always delight me with their delicious and high quality dishes for over 2 years. I eat there on a weekly basis with my friends.\r \r So when I saw they had added Thai Curry to their menu, I had to try it. I ordered the Jade Green Curry with Chicken..medium spicy..with brown rice. It was soooo good. Chicken was white meat, juicy and tender..the curry was just perfectly spicy with a good amount of fresh veggies. I encourage everyone to try their Thai curries...some of the best around town! more

Great little Chinese restaurant in Uptown Denver that is family owned and offers a very diverse menu. I love the Singapore Street Noodles and Sacha Chicken stir fry spicy with lots of veggies. Their website is very useful with lots of pictures and descriptions. Staff is helpful and friendly, too. Big portions and great value...great price for the amout of food you get. My kids love their chicken lo mein soft noodles and steamed chicken dumplings, too. It is a weekly order for our household! more

great lemon chicken 9/5/2008

I love Wok Uptown. I used to work in the area and we would always go there for lunch. They have fast and nice service and the food is always good. There are a lot of options, but all the ingredients are high quality and fresh. I try to get back there every now and then event thoguh it's really out of the way. I highly recommend this place! Pros: great food, great price Cons: smalll parking lot; no beer wine or liquor as far as I can remember more

Love this cute little place. The food is so good..I ate there three times in one week. Their Sacha Chicken is to die for. Everytime I eat there, I feel good because I know they don't use MSG and just the best ingredients. I will be coming back for more great Chinese food. more
