MY NEW REVIEW - As of April 12th (less than a week later) \r

They fooled me! This place is just OKAY and my search for fresh (and clean), delicious and reasonably priced Chinese food in Atlanta continues! Less than a week ago (April 9th), I decided to give this place a try for the first time and was highly impressed (see my first review below). In fact, it was so good... I was craving it tonight and decided to give them my business. This time I ordered the standard General Tsos Chicken, Egg Rolls, Wings and of course, Egg Drop Soup. All edible, but nothing that will make me want to come back. The fried rice was super DRY (I wish they would at least jazz it up by adding some egg or veggies to it), the egg drop soup was like JELLY instead of soup... which is a huge pet pieve of mine when ordering egg drop soup AND they forget my wonton noodles!!! However, the thing that will probably have me looking elsewhere for my next Chinese food fix is the fact that the driver harrassed me for an additional tip!?!? WTF? Mind you, he couldn't even speak English but when I handed him the $1.73 for his tip... he promptly made a fuss (in Chinese) and put up four fingers, asking for four dollars more! I wanted to take my $1.73 back and give the ONE finger he deserved but instead I called the restaurant and complained. \r

All in all, I was really excited about this place at first and am disappointed that they weren't consistent. It only takes one time to turn me off (especially with foreign restaurants) and I really must have caught them on a GOOD NIGHT the first time I ordered. Ah well, their loss! I could have been one hell-of-a customer. \r
I give this place TWO STARS, only because I had a good first experience.\r

P.S. That beautiful long-grain white rice that I talked about in my first review below... well... they only give you the ""good"" rice when you order an entree (i.e. Egg Foo Young). When you order a combination dinner (i.e. a special that comes with rice, egg roll and soup), they give you the ""cheap"" crap... that nasty stick rice! Booooooo...\r

MY OLD REVIEW - As of April 9th (this was what I originally thought of them... you have a 50/50 chance of being satisfied eating here... so choose wisely)\r
Let me just say that CHINESE food is in my top favorite foods, so I'd like to think I'm a bit more critical than the average. I just relocated to the Norcross area from Alpharetta, where ""Sunshine Chinese"" was my go to Chinese food haven! That was until I found Wok N Roll!!! This was my first time eating here but I'm already hooked. I ordered the Shrimp Egg Foo Young (no peas and carrots), with the Egg Drop Soup and Egg Rolls. Absolutely delicious! Food smelled and looked clean - which is important when dealing with some of these other suspect Chinese restaurants, it wasn't too greasy, it was piping hot, lots and lots of juicy shrimp in my egg foo young, my entree was made fresh and cooked to order (some places premake their egg foo young patties), portion size was plentiful, food was flavored well, egg drop soup is to die for, delivery service was super fast (like 20 minutes) and the driver delivered with a SMILE! I also love the fact that they use long grain rice (not that super stick stuff) and they included a plate in my bag, which was just a special touch (lol)! I hope I didn't just catch them on a good night and that this meal was a TRUE representation of what I can expect in the future!
