Wok Inn

Visited Wok Inn for the first (and last) time a few days ago. It was convenient for a co-worker and myself for dinner so we thought we'd give it a shot. I could write a lot about what went wrong with this place but I'll be brief. \r 1. The interior of the restaurant is dark and dingy. Most of the 'guests' eating were what looked like employees watching TV, \r 2. The food was pretty much horrible. In fear of some sort of food born illess I mostly crunched on some carrots, broccoli, and fried wontons. \r 3, The waitress was very hard to understand. All staff seemed to be waiting for us to sit, waiting for us to eat, waiting for us to pay, and then waiting for us to leave. And the place was completely dead at 5pm.\r 4. The 'mongolian style grill' items were all luke warm including hacked up, odd end pieces of meat. The grill cook didn't offer any spices or seeasonings besides ""spicy"". When I inquired about anything other than spicy I got the response ""Ok, ok, ok, jus garlic.""\r 5. The dessert included left out chinese doughnuts and/or soft serve ice cream from an old machine that was balanced on an unstable tv tray. \r \r Needless to say I don't think we'll be returning. more

Stopped by there on the way up to Portland. Convenient location off of the freeway and the food was great. \r \r Staff was very friendly and there is ample parking.\r \r I love their food as you can prepare the items as you like it. This place is like a mongolian style restaraunt. The difference here is, the food is FRESH, not frozen. So the food doesnt shrink when then cook it! You taste ALL of the flavors and know its the freshest it can be! more

This is good Mongolian BBQ. There are a couple of differences from other Mongolian BBQ places I've been - (a) the sauces are added by the chef, you can ask for more or less spice\r (b) they have a side buffet of chinese food - I've had tempura shrimp every evening, I've also had spicy chicken, fried rice, chow mein, sweet and sour chicken.\r (c) they offer soup\r \r Beyond that, I find the people that work there are very friendly. Family oriented Chinese Buffet. Unique style of food where you pick the ingredients and the chef will stir fry them in a wok. Great flavor, and taste. Pros: Inexpensive, Ample Parking, Friendly Staff more

If you like REAL Chinese cuisine, this place offers a close approximation. You will need to ask for more spice, garlic, or whatever suits your taste, but the food is fresh, and best of all, you get to pick exactly what goes in it. If you like Mall-food Chinese, you won't like this place. more

Bland food, not bad - just boring there are too many other choices in Wilsonville to waste your time here. The ""New Century"" (or something like that) off Wilsonville road has far better food. Cons: bland food more
