when you can't get to candy kitchen . . . 7/24/2006

My favorite candy shop by far is OC's Candy Kitchen, but when I can't get there, Wockenfuss is second best. I love just walking in, smelling all that chocolate! I've never been unhappy with anything I've sampled, though the coconut clusters are my favorite. Hubby always gets Valentine's Day candies here for me, and I couldn't be happier! more

Nothing special 6/30/2006

I just found this store in "The Mall at Columbia" and wanted to try it out. My impression is that beach candies should stay at the beach. There are other stores in Ocean City and Baltimore. I tried the milk and dark truffles, dark marshmallow, heavenly hash and chocolate covered oreo. How can you mess up chocolate covered marshmallows? Well, they did. It was tasteless, like the truffles. The heavenly hash was okay. I wouldn't go back. more
