I went to WI Vision to update my contacts and get new glasses. The first problem was that when they called to say my glasses were in, they also told me they forgot to charge me a $40 contact fitting fee, which I was never told about at the initial exam. I went after work (6:00) to get my glasses and they were closed, even though the website and the hours on the door clearly stated 7pm. When I finally got my glasses, I was not asked to try them without my contacts in. I got home and the walls/floor in my apartment were extremely curved/slanted. I called and asked if i needed to see a doctor about it and was told no. I went back to the store, where the guy working told me the problem was an astigmatism that they corrected in the glasses (which the doc never told me about). I had to go back in to see the doctor, who said it had nothing to do with the astigmatism, it was the power of the lenses. They sent back my glasses and took the astigmatism out, and when I picked them up (for the 2nd time), they were still producing the same problems. Turns out, the ""center"" was off (which they easily checked in a machine and had nothing to do with the astigmatism or the power of the lenses), so they sent them back again. I picked them up again (3rd time, three weeks) and there is still something wrong. They've disregarded my complaint each time, telling me it was something I needed to get used to, when it was clearly something they could have fixed from the start. I still have to go back for another ""check-up"", which will be my 7th time to the store, and I'm still dissatisfied. For my troubles, they offered to make Teflon lenses for $60, which they claim will help. I'd rather go to another store and pay $100 for Teflon than give that store any more of my money. Only one employee actually helped me by looking in the machine to see the ""center"" was off, out of the handful of employees, a manager and a doctor.
Pros: Easy to locate
Cons: Hard to get to during busy seasons (i.e. holidays) because of the proximity to the mall
