Wisconsin State Fair Park

From Michigan and want to say how much fun I had at the fair. Sure wish Michigan still had there annual fair. Miss it. Thanks Wisconsin, hope to see you next year. more

It is a tradition. If you live in the area you go. That's all there is to it. Parking is not good. They do have a huge parking lot. And the people in the area will let you park in their yard for $10 to $20 for the day. This year there were people giving you rides on bikes from where you parked your car. Lots going on. You have to get a cream puff. It is all the rage. more

The Wisconsin State Fair is a great place to go. It is something I have gone to yearly since I was a child, only missing a dozen or so years due to being stationed out of the country or state with the Army. There are lots of rides, and great food to try out. Larger companies come out and set up with representatives giving away samples and such. There is a raffle each year where you can win a home. There is a lot to do. Bring a good pair of walking shoes and bring your appetite too. Plan on taking a couple of trips back to your vehicle with all your goodie bags also. Don't be scared off with the overpriced parking. The charges are needed in order to keep the facility up to par. And they just did a bunch of updates to the place. It's a lot of fun. During the Wisconsin State Fair you not only get to see all the animals that made the Badger State what it is, you can eat food from all over the world, and see every late night infomercial live in person. During the duration of the fair everything from the set it and forget it oven to the easy mop can be seen in the Expo Hall. more

Fun * Games* Free Stuff* all at your local State Fair Don't miss out on this year's state fair. It's August 4th through the 14th (2005). Adult tickets are $8 each for regular admission. The animals, cream puffs, vendors, music entertainment & beer. The midway is full of rides for all ages. Lots of companies come out and offer demonstrations... they even free samples. more
