Everyone deserves a beautiful landscape -- a place of retreat, a place of study, a place of peace. We believe that beauty is implicit in the natural environment. We all live in unique, beautiful, diverse areas and capturing that uniqueness in our own landscapes or restoring what has been destroyed on any scale is making a positive impact on our world.
Native landscaping has many benefits, and one of those is creating a sense of place. A project, no matter where it's located, should exhibit a sense of belonging and not stand out from the natural surroundings. Native plantings can be "enhanced" to meet project goals by adding showy native species appropriate to the overall plant community, but a final project should look as though its always existed -- never contrived.
Our approach to landscaping is based on ecology. The owners of WinterCreek Restoration have an extensive background in environmental analysis and management, and our projects are designed with long-term ecological health in mind. Our application of environmental research in design and implementation makes us unique in the landscaping industry.
