Exceptional. Great Place For Your Pets!!! 8/17/2011

We have been working with the Doctors and staff at Winter Park Veterinary Hospital for 2 years and we could not be happier with the service and courtesy received whenever our 2 cats go in for checkups, baths or to stay while we are out of town. I would recommend them for anyone in the area wanting the best for your pet's wellness! more

Winter Park Verterinary Hospital Doctors and Staff 7/27/2011

The Doctors and Staff at Winter Park Veterinary Hospital are absolutely the best. We have been taking our cats and dogs to this wonderful place for 20 years. They are extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. Their equipment is top of the line and on the cutting edge of veterinary medicine. When it was time to let our dog go (19 yrs old) and one of our cats (20yrs old) they stayed late and were extremely kind and compassionate to our family as we had to say good-bye to our pets. Many years ago we went to another Vet and although we were treated well, when we found Winter Park Vet Hospital we just knew this was the place for our pets and our family. I really can't say enough praise about them except please keep doing what you do so well. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and paws. more

Stay way from this place, if you love your pet 3/19/2011

I have been with this vet for a couple of years, and I never trusted him. I had a loving pet rabbit name Dorothy, she was treated there and she died because the owner of this place Dr.Hess did not want to keeo her in the hospital .She had surgery, and after only one day she was discharge, she did not live because of him. . This person should not practice because he does not care, and has no feelings for animals. more

The Best Vets in Town 6/29/2010

I have taken my dog to many vets in the orlando area to find the one that I feel is the best. I can honestly say, without hesitation, that this is the best place. The office smells and looks clean, and the staff is friendly and professional. more

Never again will trust them 10/8/2009

We won't trust these peple again after our pet bird which was like our son died. We left him with them when they told us to they wanted to keep him overnite for observation and give him oxygen in a incubation cage . Called us in the evening to say he was responding to treatment, but then they take him out , leave him without the oxygen AND nobody to observe him overnite. When we asked what happened they told it must of been poor oxygenation , since he was left without oxygen overnite. And NOBODY stays with the animals overnite. That was really shocking to know in what's supposed to be a hospital. It's like nurses and Dr's leaving a hospital overnite and patients stay alone, dying. And then they were going to charge me $600.00 for the observation and oxygen withouth it happening. We are deeply affected by our loss. Becareful what they tell you !!!!!! DON'T LEAVE YOUR PETS WITH THEM. Cons: don't have overnight care, don't do what they say they'll do more

Could not have asked for a better Vet or facility!!! 3/23/2007

We moved from Georgia to Winter Park about 8 months ago. Our boxer had to go to the vet for his shots and because he had a skin irritation. They took excellant care of my Lincoln even though he gave them a hard time. They were extremely concerned for what was best for him. They treat us like we had always came there. Even called the next day to give us his test report and to see how he was doing. I would recommand this place to anyone who loves their pets, and needs and or wants a GREAT VET and TEAM!!!! I am so glad that they are able to handle Lincoln and are as concerned about him as we are. Even though he may not act like it. We are working on that. :) Thank you for everything that ya'll do for our animals. Pros: GREAT STAFF, GREAT PLACE TO0 TAKE YOUR PETS more

Professional and Experienced 7/14/2005

This may not be the least expensive vet in town, but you certainly get what you pay for. The vets are knowledgeable, concerned, and compassionate. The staff is professional yet loving and caring with the pets. If you want quality medical treatment for your pets, whether dogs, cats, reptiles, birds or wild animals you have rescued, this is the place to go. Open Saturdays and late some evenings. This place is a complete rip-off for boarding...46 bucks to ""get acquainted"" with the vet for your pet - even though my dog is an international champion and completely up to snuff - IT'S A DOG!!!
