Good Food 2/22/2006

When i lived over in north raleigh I made several trips to Winstons. The name makes it sound like a diner, but it really is a slightly upscale restaurant with some really good food. Each time i've gone its been with just one other person, our service has been great and the food as been excellent and prepared to our specifications. I'm a picky eater so finding a estuarnt taht caters to be is very difficult somethimes...they do a great job. more

Overpriced Menu and Slow Service 2/21/2006

Winston's Grille, located on Falls of the Nuese Road in Raleigh, is not really a grill. I do not understand why they named it that. They should have sytyaed with the orifginal name of Winston's Restaurant. The restaurant is more of an upscale restaurant with over inflated prices. The service is slow and it is apparent our food was sitting and waiting to be delivered to our table as it was cold to the touch when we received it. Complaints to our waiter got us nowhere. more
