Winner Electric answers their phone! I needed a simple emergency electrical fix on a home on closing day, or the closing would need to be extended. Winner Electric fit me into their busy schedule and completed the task the same day. As a Real Estate Broker sometimes you need a task completed in a hurry. My transaction closed on time and my clients were ecstatic. None of this would have happened without the timely quality work of Winner Electric! more

My experience with Winner Electric was not very positive. The owner came out to talk and go over things on a Saturday was prompt and courteous. There reviews were great, been in business for years, same contractors number no problems from checking with the contractor's board. When it came time to do the work, the two guys that came out were rude to my other contractor that was working in another part of the house. He finally left to avoid them. My back porch light, outside outlets and the door bell worked before they moved a light switch. I called to have them come back to fix the problem and talked to the owner that wasn't so nice to talk with. They did come back and fixed the problem. The city inspector came out to inspect the plumbing that was being done, and asked if there was a permit for the electric. I told him Winner Electric was to receive a permit, and when the city inspector checked, they did not have the permit on file. The guys that came out to do the work, left their personal garbage and garbage from there other jobs. I looked through the bag they left and didn't think it was worth the trouble to make another phone call. more

I hired Winner after finding them on Service Magic, thinking Service Magic screened all vendors. The estimator and office staff seemed competent and the price was right, so I hired them. The technicians were supposed to be there at 9:30am. They called me at 9:45am to let me know they were getting parts and would be over soon. The job was to be completed that day. It was not. We were left with no lights in 2 out of 3 rooms in our upstairs. We live in an old home with steep stairs. Not having a light made it quite dangerous to carry our 8 month old to bed to her room upstairs, which did not have lights. When they didn't finish on time on a Monday, they wanted to schedule to finish the work on Thursday. After some complaining, I got an appt Wed. After the work was "completed" on Wed, I found that the electrical outlets in one room didn't work. Turns out the electricians forgot to "hook up" the power to that room. Also, there was damage done to the door, wall, and floor in our bathroom. No one told us this. I luckily found it before the work was done. They did a poor job of patching the damage, but I was done dealing with them at this point. The price was right, but the hassle and time I spent on the phone trying to get this job done was not worth it. I would not recommend Winner Electric and will not use them again. The electrical work is average. However, the lack of attention to detail caused sub-par results and the lack of customer service thanks to an extremely rude receptionist/scheduler with an attitude problem cause me to not recommend this company. Questionable behavior on the part of the lead electrician make for a shady business. Don't waste your time or money, seek help elsewhere. Cons: All. more
