Colorado?s reigning chicken wing champ just keeps getting better. For several years the tiny Quebec & Countyline outpost has been setting the standard for what the hot-wings experience ought to be. Plump pieces of fresh chicken are cooked to order, then coated in one of a two dozen of made-from-scratch sauces. The Teriyaki is like a blast from the tropics, and Chipotle has a smoky taste, while the traditional hot sauces stay true to the Buffalo tradition.
They don't skimp on the sides of blue cheese or ranch dressing, giving you just the right amount for the size of your order. Because the wings are usually medium size due to only using Free Range no hormone growth chicken, a $5.95 order of six should suffice for most folks. If the chickens do come in small they always add extras at no extra charge, so you always get the same amount, even if the chickens they buy aren?t. (Read the Menu, it explains this, and I like the fact my food doesn?t contain Growth Hormone) The only issue has been that the dining room is a little out dated in decor at the original location. But there's good news! Earlier this year, a 3rd and 4th Wingin It opened up. The newest one located by the movie theaters in Castle Rock is a definite upgrade. The new location has great flat panel TV?s, music that seems to be constantly upgraded by people that know good music. Think personal touch. If they know what you?re ordering before they have to ask you, you are never without a beer or cocktail depending on your pleasure. The full bar setup is also amazing. I love their ?ISH atmosphere on hours at the Castle Rock location. They never close early, but are more than happy to keep the joint rocking with wings and drinks if people are there, hence the 10:00 O?clickish closing time on weekends.
