Wing Central

I have been there once in the entire time I attended college at CWU. The only thing that's good there are the t.v.'s to keep you distracted from the poor service. The food was ok and everything else was just ok. Wouldn't be my first choice to take the family if they were in town. more

I spent quite a bit of time at wings when I was in school a few years ago. The food has almost always been good, but the prices go up every time I go through town. The Cluck basket used to be 3.99 and now is over $7. And, they charged me for the sauce to go with the cluck basket when the menu says you get two with the meal. The service also used to be the best in town (especially Geniveve)but has not been as good the last few times. Definitely a great atmosphere and enough beers to find your favorite, just make sure you have a little patience and a few extra dollars in your wallet. more

This place reminds me of chuck-e-cheese. really lame atmosphere in a strip mall, average food, less than friendly staff. And the owner/manager would be better served to let his staff do their work and quit trying to micromanage the employees. I truly felt patronized by this fat jerk and feel sorry for anyone who has to work for him. I really don't appreciate having my meal interrupted by a manager who wants to ask me a bunch of questions about the service. I really felt like he was digging for something to try to get the server in trouble. more

Copper Kettle employees please stop reviewing our restaurant. It sounds like your place is the best in town so keep eating there. I encourage people to eat at our restaurant and if you have any problem my managers would be more than happy to take care of you. I also encourage everyone to try the copper kettle and review them as they are working hard to build a business. more

Being a Beer 101 grad from Wings (and almost 202 grad now), I can say that I've spent quite a bit of time here. They definitely have one of the best beer selections I have ever seen at a restaurant. While the menu is a little pricier than some college town restaurants, the food is generally pretty awesome here, although I have had a few off days where the food wasn't as good as normal. Besides those rare off days for the cook my only real criticism is the on and off friendliness of the staff. Don't get me wrong, they've had some of the best waitresses around working there but it seems if you don't get an awesome, above-and-beyond staff member that you get the other extreme where they don't really want to come to your table, they take a while to bring your food or refill your drinks, and just generally act a little cold. Again, this is not a criticism of all the staff there as many of them are stellar but the few that come off cold just really ruin those experiences for me. Definitely a place to check out and if you do happen to catch those off days, be sure to come back again as it is not always like that. more

When I went to Wing Central everything was just kind of average. The food was average and the service was average. I have to disagree with a previous comment and say that their beer selection is probably the best out of the restaurants in town. But the brewery does offer a good selection as well. But nothing was really above and beyond. If you guys are looking for an average sort of restaurant then go ahead and go there, but of you want something with a little extra there's about 30 restaurants throughout Ellensburg. more

The last review was left by a competitor. We strive to have a great beer selection. We have 101 different ice cold beers. Great food and great prices...5.99 burger and fries with all you can eat fry refills. Give all of Ellensburg restaurants a try we all have something to offer. Jim more

To add one little comment-like I said before, their beer selection is pretty good but if you want a great selection you should go to the brewery. Now I would say THAT is the best selection in town! more

One of the best values in Eville. I have worked at a number of places in town, and this is the only one I will eat at when I visit...Best beer selection in town and relatively inventive menu. Completely enjoyed my time there and much miss the owners, employees, and customers. more

Lets just say when they where closed for a day it took my group of friends about an 1 1/2 hours to figure out where the hell else you can go in Ellensburg. And I've lived there my whole life. Wing central has the BEST FOOD, BEST PRICES, AND BEST PEOPLE! We never go any where else to eat because they are the only one that we ALL can decide on. If your in ellensburg visiting or moving there you HAVE to go there once at least. Trust me you'll be hooked! more

A great menu including chicken wings gives Wing Central a great starting point. First let me say that eating the hellacious wing is probably not a good idea. I ate one and did not feel well for two days after it (it made me puke and sh*t fire). The wings are probably the second best thing on the menu. I really like the terriaki bowl and the stuffy burger. The women who work there are not bad to look at either. The price is resonable. more
