We went to sample some wines after dinner. We found the setting very nice and chic (beautiful infact) but the staff was very cool towards us. You would think that spending $65.00 on a glass of wine and a few samples would warent a warm ""thank you"". You would be wrong. I felt that they somehow wanted us to feel like they had done US the big favor by letting us spend our money with them. There are plenty of places to spend money around town. They won't be getting any more of mine! more

    The time has finally arrived! After two years of blood, sweat and tears, 400 wines tasted and starting to suspect that it might never happen, Wine Detective has quietly opened its doors to the wine-loving public. Actually it was the other way around, the public had opened the door, and we said, "Come on in."

    We have an exceptional line-up of 50 wines available for tasting and purchasing, a small yet very distinguished menu of cold cut plates and Basque-style small sandwiches, as well as a great and enthusiastic staff. All that's left now is for you to join us.
