""Great Value!"" This Lexington VA Cabin is a wonderful place for just about any kind of traveler. Quietly tucked away yet still close enough to so many things. Cabin is clean and comfortable, although the beds are a bit lacking. Furniture is more dorm like than hotel but it still works well and you'll find just about everything you'll need. Great place for kids and pups!! The cabin is surrounded by 3 fenced acres so there is room to safely roam- but I would keep an eye on smaller dogs as they might be able to slip through. We plan to stay again and will bring our dogs next time. Can't wait to sit around the outdoor fireplace and toast some'ores! Suggestion: a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries and a mirror in the bedrooms would be nice:) rudder more

We had a great time at Windymile! Our dog LOVED the huge fenced yard. She ran for hours and hours! The cabin has all you need. The views are spectacular and the owners are super nice. The only suggestion I would have would be for slightly more comfortable mattresses. Otherwise, it was a great weekend trip!\r more

Perfect place for pet owners, scenery lovers and peace.?Our stay and our hosts were delightful. They had all the modern amenities but in a rustic atmosphere. Beautiful mountain views 360 degrees. Very comfortable and our dogs were welcomed and comfortable as well. The cabin is on the same large property with the owner's home but with significant distance as to offer privacy yet accessibility if needed.-dbranaham more

Amazing Best vacation cabin rental ever, great location, beautiful view. The cottage is very clean, cozy and complete. Great for kids and dogs. We had a wonderful time here! Had the best of both worlds with a 60 degree day on Saturday and couple inches of snow on Sunday! I would definitely recommend this Lexington VA cabin! Enjoyed it very much and plan on coming back over and over! Beautiful views, nice and clean, fully stocked with whatever you could need! Great time! more

A Relaxing Lexington VA Cabin!! What a wonderful time!! We went up to WindyMile right after a 15 mile hike up at 3 ridges on the Appalachian trail, and man the cabin was relaxing. It is a cozy vacation rental cabin with a panoramic view of the beautiful mountains of Virginia. I was there with a team of 7 and we all had a place to rest our heads and had wonderful space to eat some good meals. The owner is just as cheerful and extremely knowledgeable of the area. So take a weekend and enjoy a hike! Then rest your head at WindyMile. more

Everything Was Perfect! Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our recent stay at Windymile Cabin - Lexington Virginia. Between the stunning views of the Alleghenies, the blessed quiet, and helping the kids make S'mores on the outdoor fireplace, it was all I could do to force myself to pack-up and leave! You really have your own piece of Eden there, and we're so glad to have had a chance to enjoy it. The cabin was neat & clean, the beds comfortable... Everything was perfect. Windymile is in an excellent country setting ! This Lexington Virginia Rental Cabin is a perfect setting for enjoying the changing seasons and beautiful views. The cabin itself was cozy and comfortable, and includes everything to make yourself at home. There is a well equipped kitchen and two bedrooms for privacy. This is a great place for outdoor activity. We had a great cookout and bonfire all night. The views of the mountains are spectacular - we just relaxed and took in all the natural beauty. I would definitely recommend staying at WindyMile Cabin. more
