Windward Hyundai

We traded in our car to purchase a new hyundai. A month later, I get a notice from the courts that I abandoned my vehicle in Waikiki. WE SIGNED THE TITLE OVER TO HYUNDAI and they never filed it. We brought the tcket/letter in and they said they would handle it. A few months later, I get a default judgement from t he court saying I didn't pay the fee. NOW I'M PISSED. The fact that they were not responsible to change the title before selling my car is ridiculous. more

Windward Dodge is located in the middle of Kaneohe town on the windward side of Oahu. I found that they had a fairly large inventory of new Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep vehicles sprawled across their lot on Kahuhipa Street. My salesperson admitted up front that he had just started and was still learning the various details of the lineup. He also wasn't aware of the various incentives available (I had printed the list from Edmunds.com), but was very smooth in his progression through the sales cycle. When it came time to negotiate a price, he immediately summoned his manager, who personally joined us at a desk. This was much nicer than the waiting game ("let me check with my manager...") other dealers like to play. Although an inflated "adjusted market value" was present on the vehicle in question, the manager immediately provided a reasonable starting point for negotiation. We ultimately did not purchase a Chrysler product, but the experience was positive enough to warrant a future visit if the opportunity ever presented itself. more
