The first three weeks I lived here I cried daily! The apartment was covered in patched up holes, doors that are falling apart, a fridge that has kick dent marks, a fan that caught on fire including an airconditioner that caught fire carpets covered in stains, a fireplace that is unsafe to use because it hasnt been serviced since the 1970, tubs that are caulked poorly and paint splatters all over the cabinets.\r

Despite theese conditions we were forced to move in due to mu husbands job in the oil industry. I swallowed my pride and started the task of repairing this place so that I could live here. I was able to make this a pretty place to live lots of paint was needed to make the kitchen cabinets look decent.\r

A year later, and three managers later, this complex has turned from bad to worse. Under current management I have witnessed this complex attempt to run residents out of their homes by increasing rent to 400 more dollars that when they moved in so that they can re rent the apartment to indivduals that are in the oil field and can afford the price and are desperate to find any housing in the area. The management doesnt invest the newly generated income in the property but greedily pockets the profits as the buildings are falling apart. \r
\r
I must say though, that Dennis the maintence guy is the best and attempts to make this place as livible as possible despite the limits of management. I think that he is underapreciated by the company and deserves the greatest amount of appreciation that an employee should recieve.\r

management is a whole other story, Current management cross's ethical and constitiounal boundaries. Recently, management pitted another tenant against me and encouraged them to video tape me in my own home invading my privacy, Outraged, I called the cops horrified that I was video taped and that management new that I was being a victim of a crime occured by this other tenant.\r
\r
On another note, If you enjoy your family time outside bbq or relaxing outside, DONT move here. Outside activities are discouraged. \r
Therefore, I conclude my post as such: To pay over 1 thousand dollars a month for a crippled apartment, that discourages family outside time, and encourages other tenants to invade your privacy isnt worth it. The ethical behavior of management and professionalism is only a hastle and you will find yourself in a constant state of anger. Choosew wisely before considering this complex as your next home
