What a fortunate choice! Winds Cafe has brightly-colored walls, interesting art , and a unique setting and set-up.
One look at the menu and I was in heaven! There were items I always wanted to try. The description of each entree was interesting and enjoyable ; not something you would see on any other menu.
I chose Game Hen Limoncello, which was delicious. Two others in our party had halibut and striped bass (which was a substitue for walleye that night); and one had the skirt steak. I thought Emeril had cooked our meals!! The only complaint I might have, is that according to the menu, it seemed I was to have a limoncello liquer served at the end of my dinner, but later realized that did not happen. All in all, I greatly enjoyed our visit to Winds Cafe, and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something different.
Pros: Unusual menu items, ambiance, pleasant staff
Cons: expensive
