Please, Please, do NOT use windows by design! Worst company I've ever dealt with. Damaged my home with no compensation. Shutters were delayed, then when finally shipped, where wrong and had to be re-built. Owner was very difficult to deal with and the salesman no better. Rating with BBB is F, that should say it all. Please do not use this company, I wish I had used Lowes. more

Avoid this business 5/1/2008

Did not meet deadlines. Did not return phone calls. Disorganized and difficult to work with. Ordered shutters four months ago and still do not have them. Do your research before ordering with this company. Cons: Horrible Customer Service more

Windows By Design does not deliver on time or at all 12/16/2007

I waited for months for outdoor shutters. The shutters were never ordered and there was no paperwork on file, plus the salesman had left the company. I demanded a refund for my deposit and have gone elsewhere. I am not alone in having this happen. Cons: Not true to word, complete disorganized more
