My first house, a '55 dump with destroyed wooden windows. Turns out, the family owned Window World Youngstown had my best interest in heart. I submitted my request for an estimate online because I did not want a long dialogue and i already had that with other window replacement companies. I requested an email back with available appointment times and it was easy as eating apple pie on Sunday. The estimate lasted 45 minutes and 30 of those were the consultant measuring the 12 windows. They wrote out the pricing, handed me the quote and drove out of the drive. No pressure, no continual calling; however, the companies that lost my business were another story. I called Window World to get 4 windows replaced in my living room, and 2 in my upstairs bedroom. The installer came out to my house, did some quick measurements and an informative demo, and gave me a VERY fair estimate. 2 weeks later the same gentleman came back with his small crew, and the job was completed quickly and quietly. I was amazed how fast they were done, and they didn't cause much mess at all. I HIGHLY recommend this company, come look at my new living room windows if you want proof for yourself! I unfortfunately cannot recommend this company to anyone. They used a gimmick to get their foot in my door, then spent the next hour or so pressuring me to sign a contract above advertised prices. Eventually they left, and I found a reputable contractor with whom I was thrilled. Good riddance. Cons: pushy, gimmicks, poor customer service and sales more
