I wish I had done this years ago!! From the first phone conversation with Wendy Melser to the end of the installation, I have been extremely pleased with every aspect of my project with Window Fashions of Texas.\r \r We had 4 windows in our old bungalow style house that needed shutters and we had 4 windows where we chose wooden Hunter venetian blinds. Wendy came out and we discussed the installation and the various choices for each project. Since our older home has major variances in window size and squareness, I was a bit concerned about the shutters/blinds being made to fit perfectly. Wendy discussed all the options with me thoroughly and we chose a mounting style that would work as well as color of shutter paint and style of wood for the blinds. \r \r The installation of the shutters and blinds went beautifully. Brian was prompt to show up, quick to install, and even vacuumed up after himself.\r \r I could not be more pleased with the results! You would never know that my windows aren't square or that the shutters/blinds weren't ALWAYS in my home. The results are beautiful and I can already tell that the shutters are helping to keep my drafty house warmer on this very cold day. I hope that when summer comes, I can see a difference as well. more

We recently did a total remodel on a very old house. The last dollars we spent were for shutters for every window in the house. Custom shutters take time - lots of time - but these were delivered according to the timeframe originally provided. The installer was professional and an ""expert"" at his job. I could not have been more pleased with the process and my husband and I are both pleased and proud of the finished product. What a terrific final addition to our ""new"" home. Details like window treatments in a home are to me essential. These dress up your home and make it more beautiful an intimate. My personal experience with WINDOW FASHIONS OF TEXAS was to say the least, invaluable; first a great showroom with a large selection of well-known products to satisfy the pickiest of customers, then, a very very knowledgeable, professional and nice sales advisor with the virtue of patience, unbeatable prices, fast delivery, and perfect installation. Everything combined to give you the closest to perfection experience. Give them a call, you will not be desappointed; if you cannot go to the showroom, which I highly recommend, they can visit you in your home carrying a small showroom in their car. From the simple measuring of my windows the fellows at Window Fashions built the very shutters I had in mind during my consultation. They were installed efficiently and more importantly beautifully and have changed the entire feel of the rooms in which they reside. In short, I love my shutters. \r \r Here is my story............\r \r I purchased a home in the Memorial area about 7 months ago which possessed several very large windows without dressings and I felt the only way to go was shutters. I did some shopping arond and found Window Fashions of Texas. They are Texas company and their shutters are made here. \r \r I went over to their showroom and after looking at their products which were of excellent quality I set an appointment to have my windows measured and placed an order for 7 shutters to be installed. Down the the hinges everything was done well and the shutters are of excellent quality. \r \r I can't say enough about how happy I am with the shutters (And Window Fashions of Texas) and am planning to add 5 more to the house. \r \r more

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Wiindow Fashions of Texas. Our sales person was fantastic. She was extremely helpful, efficient, and fun. Although we don't live in Houston, she drove out to our house that was in progress and measured the windows. Our shutters match the paint and stain like they were all done at the same time. Our installer came the day before Thanksgiving to install the shutters and was fantastic. Altogether a very great experience and I would highly recommend this company. more

My buying experience with Window Fashions of Texas great. The designer we worked with was knowledgeable and professional throughout the process. At first we did not want to go to the Showroom (too far), but it was the best decision we made. We learned a lot and were able to see/touch the Shutters and blinds that we eventually bought. The whole process was a delight. When our blinds came is we got a call to schedule the installation, we were surprised when they gave us a choice of installation times and they actually showed up on time. The installer was great, knew what he was doing and best of all cleaned up after himself. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. more

We just bought a new home and weren't sure we wanted to spend a lot of money on shutters but for the product, service, and lifetime warrantee it was absolutely worth it! The design consultant helped us with everything and was wonderful! She made sure we were taken care of and we are so happy with our new shutters. They even have a beautiful trim around each one. It really makes our home and I have been recommending it to all of my friends and family. .. no need for curtains, drilling holes, or anything else. Thank you so much for everything! This is a really wonderful company if you are interested in purchasing an excellent product at a reasonable price, with dependable service, great communication and informed, professional sales people. They helped us find the best solution to a problem door/window combination and I was impressed with their knowledge and follow-through.
