These apartments are not luxurious as claimed in their advertisements. They are cheap. The ""cottage style"" are tacky duplex style, tiny apartments with a slab of concrete and mud patch for the private patio. The bathroom and kitchen counters are very poorly painted with an awful paint that chips and stains easily (as was my restroom sink). One smoke detector had a battery while others didn't. The ceiling fan is an old as dirt model, the air filters are the cheapest on the market, ugly shower doors, and cabinets that are flaking apart in the restroom. The closet in the ""guest room"" is so oddly shaped you can hardly utilize the space unless you don't intend on hanging clothes in that half of the closet. In the particular unit I moved in there was ZERO ""updating"" as claimed (unless you count the drip marked awfully painted) kitchen cabinets. The grounds are kept, but that is almost the only plus. This is definitely not a family friendly place. Even with doors and windows shut you can hear your neighbors (mind you this is cottage), the concrete paths are not wide enough for a stroller so you'll have to fight the river rock lining the path. The complex is located within the parameters of the worst performing Elementary School in the District. Management has been very lax and are very unprofessional. They are in no hurry to address concerns. The rent is cheap and you get what you paid for. A cheap apartment, bad management, and a lot of frustration.
