Wilson Acres

Wilson Acres sucks!!!!! That pretty much sums it up. I hate living here!! i cant wait to move! The staff seems so nice at first but they dont care about anything but your money. they dont try to help you. So far, they have gotten about 400 dollars just from towing my friends! SORRY, there is NOWHERE TO PARK!!! not to mention the towing people look like inbreds. oh yeah, and the maintenance guys come into ur house when you dont even know!!! i was sleeping upstairs and there were guys all in my house!!! im surprised i didnt hear them because you can hear EVERYTHING! forget about privacy if you move here. Love living here!! Every time I need maintenance to fix something they fix it almost immediately! Office staff is friendly and helpful. The apartments are very nice, and noise is never an issue. Nice large apartments for a good price, and there are always nice neighbors. We have lived here for over a year and have enjoyed it very much. more

SAVE YOURSELF AND DO NOT LIVE HERE\r \r Let's begin the reasons why YOU SHOULD NOT LIVE AT WILSON ACRES:\r 1 The office Management switch out within months, thus are always incompetent and confused by any and all things Have always had problems dealing with management on many occassions.\r 2 Policies change whenever the feel like it and don't always care to inform you \r 3 The buildings are old and falling apart, extremely out dated.\r 4 The roofs leak and take months to get fixed.\r 5 The walls are paper thin, you will hear everyone around you at all times.\r 6 The pool (only opened for a few months in the summer which opens late every year) is left uncovered and unmaintained year round which causes it to be an unsightly swamp during the off season\r 7 The tennis court is unmaintained and not even worth playing on with the horrible surface\r 8 They gym is a tiny corner area in the office building where 2 out of 3 machines have been broken the entire time i have lived here and there are no inte more

I lived there for a year and had no problems with them. Things were fixed when I asked them to be and the rent was not that bad either. The rooms were large and there was plenty of closet space. I would recommend this to any college kids in the area. It is within walking distance of ECU, and not far from downtown. more

They charge outrageous amounts to hold an apartment and their rent is not worth what you get. If you go there, make sure it is really where you want to stay because you will not get any money back.\r \r I put a deposit down to hold an apartment then found a better, cheaper, place. When I told the people at Wilson Acres, they refused to give me anything back. I did not expect the application fees back but at least the deposit should have been returned since I had not even signed a lease. Be sure to ask what is and is not refundable because they claim that nothing there is even though I was never told that when I paid. They charge an Administrative Fee of $175 and no one there could explain what it is for.\r \r The people that manage this complex have no morals, even if it were legal to keep the deposit it is wrong to keep almost $500 (deposit, application fees, and administrative fees) when I have not received any services from Wilson Acres.\r \r It is not just Wilson Acres, AIMCO has a lot o more
