What a dump... 4/20/2008

Okay, I've only been there the one time, last night. But I doubt if I'll ever go back. I went on a Sunday night, which is a ""Blues Jam"" night, hosted by a guy called Goose. I guess I should've known as soon as they told me that on the phone. Needless to say ""Goose"" was a real insecure wanna-be musician who just can't stand to see anyone come along that might be a threat to his ego! As a host and MC he certainly doesn't know how to treat people. You'd think that management would want someoone there who know's how to treat customers, especially jammers who came to play and support the cause. Someone who knows how get people to want to come back, as a matter of fact, he's really good at just the opposite. Most of the people there were musicians and they all had a clicky attitude, except maybe one or two. The problem is, not one of them seemed to even know what they were doing and the music was basically a train wreck!!! That's an understatement actually. It's really to bad that the owner or mngt. doesn't realize the potential the place could have with the right person running the show. If your a musician, don't waste your time going to play and jam on Sunday night! Nothing worse than an insecure harmonica player, and short to boot! Big ego, with a ""Little Man"" complex! I wish there would've been a review like this one before I went. Because I would've went somewhere else! Pros: Has potential with good management. Cons: Clicky people, not friendly to strangers, horrible blues jam/musicianship! more

WATCH OUT FOR THE PRICE 4/18/2008

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE, ALL THE ANIMALS AROUND THE FOOD, ETC, AND VARMENTS EAT BETTER THERE THAN THE HUMANS. TINY, TINY DANCE FLOOR, MUSIC IS LOUSY. THEY KEEP CHANGING THEIR PRICES EVERYTIME YOU GO IN. Pros: HORRIBLE Cons: HORRIBLE more

The Best Place to Be At Any Time 12/4/2007

This place is fantastic for its food and spirits. The dance floor is exceptionally large and comfortable to be on. The bands are always great and they are very friendly. You need to try the hamburgers, they are great. The owners and staff are always willing to welcome you there. It feels like being in your own living room with all your friends around you. The owners even offer free food and barbeques on certain functions.\r \r I wouldn't frequent any place else. \r \r Thank you willowbrook for being there. Pros: Great Atmosphere Cons: Missing your friends more

Lots of low life action 5/21/2006

Never have I had to wait for a drink for so long,(when the place was barely occupied) the food was way below average, and the general feeling about the place was, ""regulars first, visitors, when we feel like getting to you."" The food was; 'bad diner cuisine', stick with the hamburgers, they where good. The night we came by they had a local band which was very good, the dance floor was tiny. Pros: Great Location, music was great, smokers patio good Cons: not enough parking, dance floor to small, nonsmkr no respct more
