If you are looking for a great place to live where the management is conscientous about your health & well bieng STEER CLEAR OF WILLIAM TELL!!! This is a place where they are neglectful of their tenents safety in all aspects. & if you cause ANy disturbance in their way of running things they will be sure to try to evict you out onto the streets. as you can see by the photos after it was reported to not only officials but management themselves about enviromental health issues that caused several people in the building to become sick, they purposely ignored numerous complaints about shorts in the electrical outlets & wiring throughout the building, even after their own inspectors went in & reported it. After this a freezer mysteriously ended up with freon releasing from it. It is overcome with VERMIN & even though they have been warned numerous times about the removal of open asbestos, they refuse to take the proper actions because of COST!!! what about the cost of the lives of those who have ended up with asbestositis & bronchitis/pnuemmonia in this building. since they know that those living here are elderly & disabled & very much afraid of being ousted out with nowhere to go they continue with their neglect & try forcing those that speak up out by legal threats. The a/c doesn't work & even if it does you wouldnt want to use it, not only bacause of the built up algae on the outside coolers but because of the faulty wiring (which also causes the elevator to to get stuck from time to time, & the lighting to fizzle out & even pop). the VERMIN problem is outrageous causing some to even need dr treatment for infections from continuous bites. But, if you complain, they will get to you ""NEXT TIME"" if you're lucky!!! They completely ignore any legal documents of protective orders, even though this is deemed by them as a secure building, with security on site. There is NO security gaurd there & anyone can enter via the propped open stairwell doors leading outside. thier is much ILLEGAL trafficking & last years fire was due to a illegal deal gone bad. The building floods continously due to rain & faulty plumbing, causing mold & mildew to grow, & even the basement cieling to collapse. The heat in the winter is terrible since the boilers are constantly breaking down. & if you have a problem or emergency after hours, you have no choice but to wait till office hours, since even though no one comes out to look at anything their over the phone evaluation of the problem always deems it necessary to wait until office hours since somehow ""MIRACULOUSLy"" they can tell over the phone that it can not br fixed till then. But hey if you like adventure & drama rent & apartment at william tell. The manager Betsy would love to get you in, as well as the owner, the more the merrier since H.U.D. is paying for it!
