William Olasov Co.,LLC

Olasov is the most efficient, straightforwardly helpful and professional landlord I've had. Any time I have had a problem with my property (with my dishwasher when I first moved in, for example), he immediately has me schedule a repair appointment. While landlords I've had in the past have been reluctant to fix things, he's fast, efficient, and actually has things fixed right instead of doing a slum-lord patch job.\r \r Sarah12334 is exactly right: his secretary is direct, to the point, and a little gruff (I wouldn't say rude, but I'm a northerner). Olasov is direct and to the point. There is no fluff in their conversations--to me, this is a good thing. Oh, and if you call back at 3:00 when his secretary said he would be back and he is not yet back, ask to have him call YOU back (shock!!). He will call you back without fail. Yes, he has a schedule and is not at every client's beck and call at every moment. I take it this is necessarily true of anybody who serves more than one client.\r \r If you need your hand held, go elsewhere. If you need an excellent, efficient landlord that gets stuff done and treats you like an adult, you can't do better than Olasov. \r \r more

I have no idea what these other two reviews are talking about. I rented from Olasov for a year. I moved from out of state and was able to view the property when I was in town through the current tennant. Also, when I moved out he showed my apartment to people several times.....and completely worked around MY schedule when doing so. more

I can echo the other review of Olasov's operation. My Olasov apparently is not familiar with Google street view and he requires you to drive by the house that you wish to see. Even if you have driven by the house don't expect an appointment. If he is not in the office, his secretary will not schedule you for an appointment to see a property. She says, ""Mr. Olasov schedules his own appointments."" What is the point of having a secretary if she can't do anything for you? Even if you get Mr. Olasov on the phone, there is no guarantee you will be helped either. He will pencil you in on HIS schedule... not yours... which I imagine is somewhere between brunch and Tee time. more

After inquiring about a specific property, I received an e-mail response of ""Call for details"". Such a cold and unfriendly response when compared with other local real estate offices. Upon calling for details it was impossible to get Mr.Olasov on the phone..even when I called back at the exact times that his secretary suggested. Frustrated, I attempted to schedule a showing with Mr.Olasov but was quickly turned down because ""that was not the way he does business"". I was instead instructed to view the outsides of the properties and THEN schedule a showing. Seeing that I live out of town and would only be in Charleston for a few days, I said that would be unnecessary but was again told that ""Mr.Olasov does not to business that way."" I hope that Mr.Olasov isn't as much as a tyrant as his staff makes him seem (I wouldn't know because I STILL haven't heard back from him) but his staff alone is reason to STAY AWAY from this real estate office! more
