This company is reputed to be one of the preeminent radiant heat specialists in the bay area. Yet I have had, and continue to have an extremely poor experience with them. I used them to replace a bad power head in one of my zones, which literally took months to just get them to come out and get the work done. In the end, the guy told me that it only requires that you screw the part in and hook up a couple wires. To make matters worse, when I got the bill, they charged me for parts and associated labor they never even put in. They even said they had no record of it either, only that one worker saw a newer part in my 10 year old system and so they tried to charge me for it as part of their work. Then when I had them remove that charge, they then tried to double the price of the one part they did put in.
As if it couldn't get worse, the part failed after only a few months, so I called the manufacturer, who said that part is incompatible with my system and will fail prematurely and probably even damaged the assembly that the part sits in. In other words, they used the wrong model. Funny, the fact that the part they put in was GREEN when all the other parts in my system are BRONZE didn't seem to raise any red flags...
The coup de grace in all this, is that it takes many many phone calls to get them to respond to anything. You can reach their receptionist and she will always tell you that someone will get back to you later that day, but the percentage of this actually happening is literally, 10%. Be persistent, be vigilant, especially their charges (see the other reviewer mentions this as well).
Pros: their reputation
Cons: reality
