A Great Credit Union 11/2/2005

This is a wonderful full service credit union that is open to anyone in the Saginaw county area. The process to open a checking/savings account was quicker than I thought and the bank officer was very friendly. The ATM card can be used at many locations with no fee (even 7-11). Every time I have went to conduct banking transactions the wait time is minimal and they staff extra tellers during the busy Fridays and Sat hours. The fact they are open Sat is an added bonus. The website is easy to navigate. It did take a long time to receive my checks after opening the account but overall this is a great Credit Union and I tell everyone about it. more

Founded in 1937 as the Saginaw Telephone Employees Credit Union, we became Communications Family Credit Union in 1984, and in 2009 we changed our name to Wildfire Credit Union. Our community charter provides membership eligibility to anyone who works, lives, worships or goes to school in Saginaw, Bay, Midland, Gratiot, Tuscola, Genesee, Shiawassee, Isabella, Gladwin, Arenac, Clare, Iosco, Ogemaw, Roscommon, Missaukee, Wexford, Crawford, Kalkaska, Grand Traverse, Benzie, Otsego, Antrim, or Leelanau counties.
    Lobby Hours - Mon-Thurs 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, Fri 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
    Drive Thru Hours - Mon-Fri - 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, Sat* 9:00 am - 12:30 pm (*except non-holiday weekends)
