As out-of-towners visiting Tacoma for the first time, we were so lucky to be taken to Wild Orchid for a nice Friday evening out on the town! We arrived around 7:30pm and did have to wait for about 15-20 minutes for a table. It was worth every moment of waiting by the time our delicious food arrived. We were a party of four and all shared bites of our meals - I was impressed with all of the dishes that I was able to try. I loved this restaurant and if we move to the area, I am sure I will become a regular! more

Yummy Thai! 4/29/2005

Wild Orchid takes an interesting spin on Thai food -- And it's AWESOME! It is not so much a kid place - more adults and dates, etc. I am not a real Thai food kind of person, my husband is. But I have to admit, this is one of our favorite date places. It opened up just recently, and has quite a following now. They don't take reservations, but are usually pretty good at seating quickly. more
