After a visit to the Annapolis Maritime Museum, which in itself was a find, since it is something of a public dock-front park, with people fishing and enjoying the view - we stumbled across Wild Country Seafood. Thinking it was a lunch wagon, as we approached, there in fact was a great little take-out seafood platter/basket place with al fresco dining. We split a crab cake platter which was great and enough for two - the crab cakes were moist nuggets of mostly crab meat with none of the overpowering Old Bay that some restaurants use, lightly fried, excellent fries and cole slaw. Now we have to figure out how to get there by boat, since it is a convenient alternative to Cantler's or Mike's. And a little bit of the old Eastport flavor right under our noses. Thank you to the owners, identified as the last watermen in Annapolis.
