Widmer's is on the Canandaigua Wine Trail. Not only is Widmer Wine Cellars one of the oldest wineries in NYS perhaps even in the U.S. but did you know they are also the world's largest producer of Kosher wines? The Manischewitz wines are produced right here in Naples, NY. You won't want to miss this winery tour. It is so interesting to see where the kosher wines are made, a rabbi comes in everyday and blesses the wines and oversees their production. I never knew these wines are served all over the world. The Naples Valey has absolutely gorgeous scenery and the village itself is quaint and has many local artisan shops with locally made hidden treasures perfect for unique gifts (Artizann's). I love Naples! more

Not only is Widmer Wine Cellars one of the oldest wineries in New York and perhaps the United States but did you know it is the largest producer of Kosher wines in the world? Manischewitz wines are produced in Naples NY and served all over the world. Be sure to take the tour and learn how the Rabbi blesses the wines everyday and oversees their production. The Naples Valley is the one of the most scenic in the Finger lakes and its charming village holds hidden treasures ready for discovery. more

I love this place 3/28/2006

This is a great winery- they offer tours and wine tasting events. Its so much fun. A great way to spend a day with your signifigant other or even with your adult friends. They have lots of wines to choose from after the tour if you're looking to buy- Great prices too.. This winery is located in Naples, NY and it is beautiful. Lots of pretty vineyards around to drive by and look at. It really is a fun place. more

Large Winery 10/20/2005

A large winery nestled in the heart of Finger Lakes wine country. Take the tour and learn more about winemaking. Be advised it's a long tour, about 30 minutes. Stop in the tasting room and sample some of their products, wines, juices and jellies. They've got some good tasting wine but it just didn't seem "homey" like many of the smaller wineries. more
