Wicker Pet

I've been taking my SUPER high energy dog to Wicker Pet for almost a year now and he loves it there. Once we get close to the place, he starts pulling me down the street to get there! The staff is always super friendly and it is very obvious that they enjoy being with the dogs. They genuinely care about the dogs and the owners. Sometimes I think my dog is more excited to see them than me!! My dog is able to be social with other dogs and people, and get his energy out in a safe, friendly environment. I never have to worry about him once I drop him off there. I highly recommend Wicker Pet!! more

100% positive experience! Our dog is one who has ""separation anxiety"", but after one day at Wicker Pet, he got over it. Now, the moment that our dog knows that we are walking him there for another day (passing a certain point on the street), he grows very excited and his tail wags like crazy. \r \r That tells us a boatload about Wicker Pet that confirms our gut feeling: this is a great and safe space for a dog!\r \r The staff with whom we have talked -- Jen, Jenna, Ashley, and Ben -- provide feedback on how our dog is doing, and they are genuinely interested in their ""guests"" having a wonderful time. They provide a 2 1/2 hour nap time in the middle of the day, which certainly plays well for our dog. \r \r Wicker Pet provides optional services such as nail-trimming, dog baths, and ear cleanings. Big thumbs up for those as well, with respect to both quality and price.\r \r Our dog has become happier, and better socialized as a result of his times at Wicker Pet! I took my dog Sasha to Wicker Pet for daycare only once before the change in management, but the changes since then have been really great. The people working there have been so friendly and always accomodating when I wanted to bring my dog there at the last minute. She's not the most social dog so I was worried they wouldn't accept her, but they worked with her and she's actually been a little bit friendlier and more social with other dogs. Also, whenever I take her there, she is POOPED at the end of the day. She comes home, eats dinner and passes out in her bed for the rest of the evening! more

I've been taking my German Shepard to this ""doggie daycare"" almost daily since he was a puppy (over 10 years). While my neighbors come home to spazzy, stir-crazy animals that need long walks to burn off their pent-up energy and calm down, my dog is both pooped and happy when I pick him up in the evenings from Wicker Pet. He passes out shortly after we get home, so I'm free to do whatever I need to do without worrying about neglecting the doggie. \r \r Even when I can only bring my dog here a couple times a week, it makes a world of difference on his demeanor. Hanging out with other dogs at Wicker Pet has made him extremely sociable and comfortable around dogs of all sizes. I've noticed that the ""good dogs"" at Wicker Pet get to roam around and ""mingle"" with the other dogs and WP employees, while the ""not-so-good"" dogs get put on ""time out"" in the doggie suites when they need it. \r \r All-in-all a great place to bring your canine companion! And they board too! more

I have been taking my dog to Wicker for almost a year. I agree with the other post, he comes home and sleeps all night. My dog is VERY active and sometimes he does not get along with other dogs, but has never had a problem. Lath, the owner is great, my dog thinks of him as an uncle. He lets us bring our dog what ever days we want, most time with no warning. Compared to pther places in the city, it is a great deal. Pros: friendly, dependable Cons: Doesnt open till 8:00 more
