Wholly Joes is a little clice of heaven 3/31/2005

I've been a Columbus resident all my life but have found the food here to be a little bland. I spent a few months in Chicago for business and fell in love with the great food there. When I returned to Columbus I was sad that there wouldn't be any good food, but a friend told me about Wholly Joes. Let me say it is exactly like Chicago and is delicious. I go there atleast once a week. I would reccomend you go there too! Pros: just like Chicago more

Wholly Joes is really good. I've tried it all and I really can't say that there is anything bad to eat there. But I can defiantly say there is a lot of good things to eat. I would have to suggest trying the hot dog or the beef sandwich. But if you have the time, go for the Chicago style deep-dish pizza. It is truly the best pizza in town. Pros: good food, bar none more

Wholly Joes Best Hot Dogs in Columbus 5/29/2004

We are from Chicago and really missed the Chicago hotdogs. A couple years ago we found Wholly Joes and have been going there a few times a month ever since even though it is quite a drive for us. Try this place! 9/4/2003

My wife calls them ""snap dogs"" because the hotdog actually has a skin on them! I have the Wholly Joes beef sandwich, a good ""french dip"" type. Be sure to get their cheese for the fries! And the kids meals come in a cardboard car to keep.. Pros: Good food, clean, prompt Cons: order accuracy more

I must say I've never had a bad meal there! The hot dogs are great, the bugers are awsome, and the italian beef is the best I've ever tasted. Plus the pizza they have there is the best in columbus, maybe even Ohio! I'd go there anytime, and I do! Pros: great food, great atmosphere, helpful service Cons: a little expensive more

It's a Hot Dog, People 7/16/2002

Sure, Wholly Joe's hotdogs are good, but are they really that much better than a Ballpark frank that you put your own chili, cheese and chopped onions on? Maybe a little. At any rate, it blows Skyline out of the water. Maybe I just never understood what the big deal is about ""Chicago""-style pizza and hot dogs. I'm from Chicago and when I discovered the this place it felt like home. Real Chicago style hotdogs, juicy beef sandwiches and excellent tamales. This is a place where you can get high quality fast food and dine in pleasant atmosphere. They even serve beer! Why would you eat at a fast food restrauant when they can get food just as quick and much better tasting at Wholly Joes? Try the home made Chocolate cake, its excellent.
