I had a bad experience and their customer service is a joke when it comes to actually working to fix a customer’s issue. I needed an impeller kit and a propeller. Wholesale Marine’s site listed sie-18-3517 for the kit. I went back the next day and sie-18-3217 came up (these two kits are IDENTICAL except for one piece) and I ordered it. I called the company and explained the problem, asking if I could get the part I was missing for the difference in kit price ($5.24), because they also sell it separately (sie-18-3116). They told me I needed to pay $25.01 for it. The propeller I wanted was $250, but they didn’t carry it (Michigan Wheel SS). My point is, if you use the code NEXT10 they will knock 10% off your purchase price regardless of what you order. Well that tells me they can adjust the cost of any item. Amazingly, I couldn’t get them to do this for me. I wanted them to send me the other kit and then credit my account when I returned the other one, but the girl said she needed to get a return authorization and put me back into the queue. I was supposed to start asking for help all over again so I asked to talk to a supervisor and was put on hold for 10 minutes by a guy named Keith. I ended up being routed back to his line but he was busy helping someone else and I got his voicemail. I called back and Jen answered. I asked to talk to a supervisor and she just kept asking me what this was about. Finally she said she needed my order number to get me to the right department supervisor. I gave it to her and she kept asking me how she could help me. I said she could help me by putting a supervisor on. She actually had the balls to ask me if she could take a message. I tried two more times, one person kept putting me on hold and I got nowhere and the other one said she would transfer me to a supervisor but I was sent right back to “your call will be answered in the order it was received.” After 6 more minutes, it wasn’t a supervisor, so I gave up. If you read some of the other reviews you can see that if there is an issue more difficult than checking on your order, or something simple like that, you are either going to get jacked around or you won’t get helped. A company that doesn’t work hard to make sure that all of its customers are satisfied is a sorry ass company indeed.
