Only if you're a plant lover 9/6/2005

We didn't get the family pass to the White River Gardens, because with small children, it's not worth the price of admission. If you are into plants and like to just walk around, sit among plants/flowers, and be at peace, it's a good trip. But kids are BORED to tears. The butterfly exhibit is fun, but not quite worth the price. more

not for small kids 8/15/2005

we took our kids to the ZOO and thought it would be fun to also take them through the gardens and to see the butterflies...although they liked the thought of seeing the butterflies but after 10 minutes they were ready to go... so not a bargain to pay for 4 to spend 10 minutes, although it's beautiful i think it's more for older kids and adults. more

Too Small - Not many Species... 8/10/2005

Went here this summer and felt so stupid to waste $7. The garden was OK, But too small. I would say this is the smallest of a Garden I would have ever seen. The Butterfly garden is good, But that is the only thing about it. more

Very relaxing 8/4/2005

White River Gardens is located next to the Indianapolis Zoo. The White River Gardens is very relaxing place to be! They have butterfly exhibit in the spring with may different kinds of butterflies. I went to see it a few years ago, and I was amazed to see those pretty butterflies flying freely inside of greenhouse. It was unbelievable to see them flying over my head and resting on my arms. Also, during winter, they have Chirstmas train running inside of the greenhouse. I think you can get discount coupon at White River Gardens if you go to the Indianapolis Zoo. more
