Hi, MA 123 is a girl I dated (once) a few years ago. We went to the harbor on our date and stopped in at Pelican Gallery. She was trying to get the owner to give her discounts on the things she was looking at. The owner was very polite, but firm, that the prices were not negotiable. This chick was very rude to her and called her a b**ch as she walked out in a huff and knocked over a display when she walked out. I ended up leaving her at the harbor and haven't spoken to her since. Seeing her remark below, I remember her saying ""I'm gonna burn that b**ch online."" To the owner, Ma'am you are very nice and have a great shop. I will recommend you to all my friends. more

worth the trip 9/4/2009

I have been a customer of the White Pelican for over ten years. I often stop in just to see what's new and have bought many pieces there over the years. Chad has always gone out of his way to describe the history of a piece, which I think is important if you want to know you are getting authentic native am. pieces. Chad is also a jeweler and has adjusted/sized pieces for me. He is skilled and knowledgeable about the craft. He also carries a huge assortment of styles. I am NOT a tourist, and I am NOT over 65--and I get excellent service! It's a family-owned shop and run shop and...just stop in for yourself sometime. Pros: authentic jewelry, helpful staff Cons: none more

The "owner" is rude, disrespectful and unhelpful unless you are over the age of 65 and a tourist, and even then his attitude is poor. Pros: none Cons: too many to list more
