I am thoroughly impressed by this candy store--they offer a large selection at very reasonable prices. The quality and taste are as good, if not better, than Malley's or Godiva, plus you won't break the bank buying a pound of two. I ended up buying half a pound for under $6.50--that included two truffles, three haystacks, a peanut butter cup, five sugar cremes, a turtle, a white chocolate heart and two jellied fruit slices. I also purchased 1/4 lb. of dark chocolate-covered espresso beans for $2.50. The fudge was fresh and melt-in-your-mouth decadent for probably half of what you'd pay elsewhere.
If you decide to make the trip, pay special attention to the sugar cremes. They are a simple pleasure that come in five different flavors (if you enjoy pure maple candy, you will definitely enjoy these). Make sure to try the fudge, as well as any one of the delicious flavors of truffles. Anybody that loves cashews, peanuts or pecans will also have a hard time walking away from this place without buying at least one treat. If you are looking for sugar-free, you will not be disappointed.
Overall, a must-stop when you're in Middlefield--but don't go there if you're on a diet!
