I have seen the sign for this restaurant on previous trips and this time we stopped. What a delicious surprise! The owners of this restaurant know how to make homemade and not the standard-quick-food-fare. We ordered a Calzone (about $7) and a Spinach Alfredo Pasta Dish ($8). Both were excellent, the calzone was one of the best I have ever tasted .
There is a train that circles the top of the dining area and lots of children were in there. There isn't a lot of storage space so the ladder and 2 vacuums were sitting out. The taste of the food makes up for the ambiance though. There is a little wait because they are preparing the food fresh, but well worth it. I heard that the Fried Green Tomatoes are excellent.
Try to get a black gumball when you walk in and you could get a free cheese pizza. Not a bad gamble.
