Our first visit to the restaurant was on a Saturday. Saturday and Sunday are all-you-can eat roasted pig sandwiches. My husband had the pork. He reported it was good but did have some waste (being it came off a whole pig that might be the norm). It came with a choice of coleslaw, potato salad or beans. He chose the potato salad; good but lacked spices.
I had the brisket dinner. I had a choice of two sides. The brisket was tender and came with a smoky bbq sauce. I had the Texas Taters (quartered whole potatoes, deep-fried and sprinkled with Cajun seasoning). Excellent. I also had the creamy coleslaw. It was good; however, it could've used a bit of vinegar to jazz it up.
The sweet tea was wonderful. Our servers, Betsy and Laura, were very informative and attentive. Betsy has a great accent; being from Alabama and it was a blast talking to her. So, for now, that's all y'all. Enjoy.
Pros: Fun, great service, good menu
Cons: None at the moment
