small park with lots to do 8/19/2005

This park is relatively small, but plenty of do to keep the family occupied for an afternoon. Kids love the pool with it's big, winding slide. Be sure to take plenty of quarters since the kids won't want to leave the arcade. There's also a pretty decent sized playground that you'll be dragging the kids from. Don't forget the miniature golf and also paddle boating out on the lake. There's golf and tennis and plenty of picnic tables if you want to pack a lunch or have a little family reunion. And don't leave the house without bagging up any old bread, crackers or popcorn to feed the ducks. In the winter don't forget ice skating. more

Great place for family fun 8/12/2005

This is a great place to spend a Saturday with the family. They have paddle boats, mini golf, swimming, and arcade games, as well as golf and plenty of places to walk. There are picnic tables and places to eat indoors. The White Palace at Wheeling Park offers a spectular (albeit expensive) place for receptions and parties. Companies can host picnics at Wheeling Park and be assured their workers will have plenty to keep them busy all day. There’s no better place in the Valley to spend a fun, relaxing day with the family for a reasonable price. Buy a wristband and play all day! more
