First and foremost, we are a school, educating students from kindergarten through eighth grade. Current enrollment is nearly 540 students. We offer a well-rounded program which incorporates challenging academics with a wide range of athletic, fine art, and co-curricular activities.
Our students score significantly above the national standardized test norms at each grade level, with 75 percent in the above average to superior range.
As a Christian school, we're thankful for the freedom to teach and model values of respect, kindness, citizenship, and service that spring from our biblical worldview. We work closely with parents to support and encourage their role in raising children. Parents work closely with us by actively supporting classroom activities and participating in the spiritual, social, an practical needs of the school. We have a wonderful new building! Our beautiful new 35-acre campus (occupied fall 2010) provides a bright and innovative space for learning. We enjoy state-of-the-art technology, dedicated spaces for fine arts and athletics, a wetlands study area, a centrally located Library Media Center and much more. But it's not about a building! At WCGS, it's about building relationships. Our dedicated faculty serve as mentors and role-models. Students build solid relationships around the common ground of faith in Jesus Christ.
