The Setting
The clear water of Pomme de Terre Lake and the rolling Ozark hills provide an excellent setting for camping, picnicking, swimming, fishing, hunting or almost any outdoor recreational activity. With its 7,790 acres and 113 miles of shoreline, the lake is well known for its excellent fishing combined with panoramic scenery.
The Facility
Wheatland Park has campsites, with some electrical hook-ups, some ADA-accessible, some with water and electricity, some basic sites and some tent-only sites, as well as one picnic shelter. Additional amenities include a shower house, boat ramp, courtesy dock, playground and swim beach.
