My experiences with WAH have been excellent. I am surprised to hear that people have found them less than compassionate. My cat was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure, and as he declined we made the very difficult decision to let him go. Any time we visited the office, all the staff were friendly and very sympathetic. At first I wasn't sure about Dr. Brown -- he seemed a little wooden at first -- but he turned out to be so, so wonderful. He couldn't have been more patient and caring during the procedure. I opted to stay with my cat and of course was very emotional. He made me feel comfortable and handled my cat gently and carefully. What really sealed it for me was the long, handwritten sympathy note I received from him, as well as an obviously handcrafted clay memorial plaque for my cat that included his paw print and a clipping of his fur attached.
I recommend WAH to anyone who cares about their animals and wants excellent, compassionate care. Dr. Brown and the whole staff are obviously animal lovers and love what they do.
Pros: Clean facility, great staff
Cons: A little far away for me, but worth the drive
